Frontend Publish options Calender problem

How can I get the pop-up calendar on the publish dates to work correctly? It works fine when used on a default template.

    I would love to get this issue with enabling the Frontend editor sorted. Is there any chance of a solution to this with this excellent blank template?

    I've just enabled it on another site and I can't get the tabs to work correctly amongst several other functional issues. I'm sure I'm missing something here.

    Where do I put this snippet, head section of the template or in the very first lines of index.php, before everything else?

    In case of this problem within frontend editing, you need something like:

    JHtml::_('bootstrap.framework'); // Joomla Bootstrap
    JHtml::_('bootstrap.tooltip'); // Joomla Tooltip
    JHtml::_('behavior.framework'); // Joomla Mootools
    if ($layout != "edit") {
    unset($this->_scripts[$this->baseurl .'/media/jui/js/bootstrap.min.js']);
    $doc->addScript($tpath.'/js/bootstrap.min.js', 'text/javascript', true);
    unset($this->_scripts[$this->baseurl . '/media/system/js/mootools-core.js']);
    unset($this->_scripts[$this->baseurl . '/media/system/js/mootools-more.js']);
    }

    The frontend editor needs old Bootstrap and Mootools code.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Template switching would look messy and not very professional thoug I can see that would be an easy answer.

    I would love to know what the issue is for future projects. I love these templates and I don't know of a similar alternate.

    The page concerned is accessible by registered users only. Is there a way I can send you the login?

    Hm, I don't know. Maybe you can provide an url to see the problem. Or if you want to edit in frontend maybe a template switcher is the solution.
